Soothe My Soul With Some Musica!

It’s been a while since I've searched YouTube in the hope of finding music that will make me smile, so the other night I felt that it was time for me to find a new song that keeps me floating, you know the type of song that I'm talking about, the kind of song that even when nothing in the world seems right this song will make you feel as though you're floating on cloud 9.

So to find out what type of musical mood my ears were in I decided to get the ball rolling with a bit of Frank Ocean, but to my delightful surprise there was a song of Mr Oceans that I hadn't yet heard despite the fact that it was uploaded 3 months ago.... What can I say we're all entitled to fall off every now and then.

'Thinking about you' by frank ocean for me is one of those songs that as soon as the first note drops no matter what mood I'm in it just takes me to another place where nothing exists but me and the music. Have a listen and let me know what you think...

I love them both, but I cannot deny that the young lady doing the cover killed it!! There are so many others like Emmalyn Estrada on YouTube covering this very song but so far I haven't seen anyone else do it like her!! I showed my friend her video before showing her Mr Oceans and she said "she sings it like it’s her song!!!", and as a singer herself she was also blown away that she sang the song in one take!!

Emmalyn Estrada has to the voice of my week! I think she is bloody great but she also makes me a little sad that I can't sing! Oh well not all of us are created to be musically talented some of us are simply created to enjoy the musical talent of others and I for one am lovin' me some Emmalyn Estrada for ma ears!
